Listed below are the campsites at Willesley.

We divide the site into 13 camping areas. The map is here.

Please let us know if you specifically want a site (e.g. near a building you are using), otherwise we will allocate you one. If you want to use a different site to that allocated, ask the Duty Warden nicely when you get to site.

Capacity numbers are guidelines.

Site List

Bottom Field Left. Sleeps approx. 50. Large open area adjacent to Warden’s facilities and access track. Slightly sloping. Both bottom field sites are used together for bigger camps.
Bottom Field Right. Sleeps approx. 50. Large open area adjacent to Bottom Field (left) and access track. Slightly sloping. Water tap and alter fireplace. Both bottom field sites are used together for bigger camps.
Churchside. Sleeps approx 40. Enclosed on 2 sides, wood pile in the corner, nearest site for groups using the Gatehouse for catering and eating.
Lone Poplar. Sleeps approx 25. Small wooded area in large mature trees with alter fireplace. Adjacent to Field Toilet Block when open, with outside tap, washing up area and Elsan disposal point.
Beech Corner. Sleeps approx 50. Bottom right of the main field. Open – no trees. Adjacent to car park. Slightly sloping.
The Lawn. Sleeps approx 50. Middle right of the main field. Open – no trees. Slightly sloping.
Cherry Tree. Sleeps approx 50. Upper right of the main field, Open – no trees. Slightly sloping.
Top Grove. Sleeps approx 40.Top right of the main field, partially in young trees at the border. Mostly flat.
Lime Tops. Sleeps approx 40. Top right of the main field, partially in young trees at the border. Mostly flat.
Orchard. Sleeps approx 30. In tree cover so not much grass and lots of Bluebells! Flat.
Kitchen Garden. Sleeps approx 20. Our most secluded site, enclosed by trees on 3 sides and furthest from anyone else (and the facilities). Flat.
Yew Trees. Sleeps approx 20. In amongst the Yew Trees, adjacent to the flag field. Flat. Suitable for ‘Back to Basics’!
The Ridge. Sleeps approx 20. Adjacent to the flag field. Flat. Ideal for camping if using The Cabin.
